The road to safer products and new markets.
GSFI Global Markets is a program recognized by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), applicable to small or less developed companies who are not ready for an official certification under the approved schemes of the GFSI.
The evaluation program has been developed to cover the scopes of manufacture and primary production. It includes two levels: the basic level and the intermediate level, which represent 35% and 65% of the key elements, based on the requirements of the GSFI’s Guide on the General Principles of the Codex Alimentarius.
The main objective is the development of suppliers, who—through these evaluations and their continuous improvement—will be able to obtain an official certification under the approved schemes of the GFSI.
